IT IS RAINY SEASON!!!!!

I have been reading a little quote book from Beth Moore out of Believing God each day and came across this quote:

" I (God) will give you rain at the right time and the land will yeild its produce, and the trees of the field will bear their fruit."

Right now in Mexico it is rainy season. Seeing this quote made me realize that God is providing every drop of rain we get here. Not only to farmers and fields, but to the children in each casa hogar we serve. Wells are being filled!!!!! Especially ours here on the campus of Back2Back, helping us better serve our American groups that come to serve here alongside us. The wells currently getting filled up by this rain are the same wells that are supposed to last an entire year. At each Childrens home, we have around 40-68 children. With all of them showering, brushing their teeth, going to the bathroom, and cooking food for all of them, you can imagine how much water is used on a daily basis. We have around 100 people living on the back2back campus and when groups come it is more. Most of the time, when summer rolls around there is barely enough water in the wells. But God always provides and is always faithful. Sweet children run out of water......our God supplies the perfect amount needed. So the more that i see the rain come down the more i continue to thank God in this season right now. It has been rather a dry rainy season here. If you would come alongside me in prayer for each childrens home to get the EXACT amount needed i know our God will provide. After all, it is a promise to the orphan child from our heavenly father.

i just have to say to sara thank you so much for blessing me beyond belief. the whole night was a huge success and at the end of the night when amanda and i were counting money, amanda ran in and got a MASSIVE amount of cash and proceeded to tell me that my sweet friend sara ( who is a missionary in SLOVENIA) had been tithing to me the entire year. I was absolutely blown away with emotion and blown away by the fact that sara had done this. I wanna be like sara when i grow up. that is right.... when i grow up. Sara thank you so much. the fact that you were thinking of me in the midst of you being in Slovenia is beyond anything i could have ever thought. You are so incredibly sweet. i am blessed by your friendship and blessed by the way you love and serve me.

The Night of my fundraiser was INCREDIBLE. Seeing so many friends and family there was such an incredible feeling. I am so blessed to have so many people in my life that love and support me. The fact that i have people standing firm beside me in the midst of my call the Lord has put on my life, is a feeling that is very humbling. God knew what He was doing when He brought each and every one of you into my life. I can't say THANK YOU enough for the beauty you all shed into my life. Thank you for your support and LOVE. I AM SO BLESSED!! I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH AND AM SO GRATEFUL FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Highlights of my trip back home!

My brother, Isaac, got married on August 15th, 2009. That is his wife Amy and his new daughter Jozelyn.

My Best Friend Amanda Taylor and her sweet daughter Adelyn Taylor!
There are no words to describe our friendship. As i was cleaning out my room at my parents house i was finding things from almost 10 years ago that amanda has either made for me or done for me. Then i came across all of our accountability stuff. We are not only Best Friends but our friendship is rooted upon Jesus Christ. It is one of the sweetest gifts God can bring in your life. Although i live in Mexico, Amanda is still always there for me and is always anxious to know what is happening here in Monterrey. Amanda had blessed me from the very first moment i got into the car at the airport. She had a sonic drink (vanilla, cherry, dr. pepper), a target gift card, a sonic gift card, and the movie 17 again. Now who doesn't want to come home to that? it was so wonderful catching up with her and pretty much staying with her while i was home. Playing triple yahtzee almost every night was def. a highlight. Anyway, when i came across our old accountability stuff from back in the day it made me realize how much i really miss that. Specifically with her. She is someone that continuously challenges me in my walk and is ready to move ahead with her relationship with Christ. Being comfortable is never the case. She is always eager for the next thing God has for her. She is nothing but incredible when it comes to putting her family first and seeing the potential that people have. I was so blessed just to be able to pray through our weaknesses and seeing God continue to bring us together the way He did almost 10 years ago. It is always hard for me to say bye to her and now that she has a sweet baby that i am OBSESSED with it is even harder. I love them so much and can not thank Amanda enough for everything she did for me while i was home. She is one of the most selfless people i know. I am so blessed to have her in my life for such a long time and for years to come. Amanda, you mean the world to me and i love you so much. you are the greatest BEST FRIEND.
